I went to this restaurant a few times with my wife a few years ago and it wasn't great. Very limited selection of meats.

We went back a few weeks ago and it was great! The meat selection had at least doubled. More beef and pork selections - specially like the addition of pork belies which was great.

The buffet is nice and fresh and seems to be reasonably well stocked.

For under $30/each this was a great dinner experience. We will be back and we will be back often.

My daughter brought me here for my birthday dinner on Oct 15 2019. She had been there for a prior birthday party and she enjoyed it. She did mention that it was better the night of the party.

We went on a Tuesday at 8 pm. Being a buffet fan I avoid going to buffets if it's an hour or less before closing because they are reluctant to refill low/empty trays.  They advertised that they were open until 10 pm so I figured we were safe. I was wrong. Before I say anything more I will say I am not a hard sell. I am not in the least bit fussy and as far as I'm concerned anything that is cooked by someone else is great by me. Having said that, I will say this was the worst meal I have ever had!  The only thing that was passable was the BBQ meat. Everything else was terrible. The yakisoba was basically empty, the fried rice was hard and dry. Everything else looked over-cooked and mushy. Nothing was very hot. Anything that was deep fried (the sweet and sour pork and the chicken wings and the dumplings) were too hard and inedible. The 4 flavours of ice cream was the only dessert available and 3 out of 4 were basically empty. They didn't ask us if we wanted anything to drink. They charged $23.99 per person. The only reason I didn't complain ferociously was because A) My daughter paid. and B) I didn't want to make her feel bad because it was her choice to go there. If I had been on my own I wouldn't have paid the bill. Before we were even done eating the staff were all sitting down to eat their dinner. I felt like we were an annoyance to them. There is no excuse for being inconsistent based on day and time. If you aren't busy enough then don't open. Indifferent service, terrible food. Over priced. How do they even stay in business? Never again. After I took my daughter home my husband and I went to  McDonald's. Compared to this place, that Big Mac was excellent.

It has been a long time that I haven't had korean bbq! One of my friends told me about this place because of the AYCE.
I went here for lunch on weekend ($16.99/person). You can pick whatever you want, but make sure there's no leftover or else they will charge you $10.

My favourite was the deep fried chicken and their seewed soup. As for the meat, they have beef, pork, chicken, sausages. There's no pork belly :( -- I heard its only for dinner.

Service was actually good, because they keep changing the grill. However, it's so hard to ask them for water. and one of the server keep telling me "don't put the fire on high position because your grill will be burnt easily." -- at first I was put at high because it took long time to make the meat has the "burnt" side. but even when I put at low, the grill still burnt. just thinking they should just buy better quality of the grill so they don't need to change it every 20min lol.

From the outside this place seems very quiet but the inside is bustling with customers. For the price you pay, you get great value for the food and food quality. I'm not saying it's like the best korean I've had but the value is unbeatable. Service is a bit lacking as no one really tells you anything when you sit down at your booth. You're expected to know the drill as you walk in. The waiters changed our grill quite frequently which was nice. I would say out of everything we ate I think the meats for the kbbq, soups and the hot dishes were worth eating. This place brings out new batches of food not very often so when you see the little ajummas come out with a pan of food you go immediately. Not the best food but judging by how full we were it was worth it.

Our third time here. Every time we come here the food just seems to go downhill; both in the quantity and quality.

Food options are looking less appetizing and healthy since last. As it is I already avoid 50% of the food options.  If SGH continues to degrade their q&q, what will there be left to eat?

Lot's of rif rafs in attendance today. (Downside of budget buffets.). There was this annoying Filipino couple who kept giving their child utensils and metal cups to throw on the floor. The immature man-child father found it cute while the neurotic infantile mother felt it was her"freedom" to raise a manic serial killer murder rapist child and let it do what ever it desires. The couple further demonstrated how it was a non issue, by themselves throwing dishes on to the floor. Their moronic behaviour went on for 30 minutes.  They declared they lived in a free country as their justification.

While these sideshow bobs performed this novel circus act, the management watched as spectators, and did nothing to relieve the discomfort and disturbing havoc these crude amateurs wreak to the diners. Management too must thought it was cute?

Going to avoid this place in the future, as the management 1; are unable to handle idiot customers that disturb others' the peace and ability to "enjoy" their food.  2 fails to manage /maintain the quality of the food to an acceptable level.

Frankly, seems like SGH is on a slippery slope/ verge of losing it, unless you want to see some crappy circus throw-stuff-on-the-floor act..... I'd avoid this place like a plague.
